On a Separate topic which is still related to cricket but not IPL,I was reading Harsha's Three captains and one bat. Harsha made some good points but I do not agree with all of them. The match fixing Saga has always been a mystery not just to me but many avid supporters of the world cricket. We are still not sure about what really happened and got transformed in case of the Indian Side of the story then how can we comment on Pakistan's side of the story. BCCI is stronger, richer and has control over the cricketing decisions that India takes where as the same doesn't hold right with PCB. Azhar and Jadeja were banned from International cricket but I always beleived that there was more to the match fixing saga than just the named players. My assumption was that the ICC, BCCI and Cricketing Officials had to make some tough decisions to save the sport and they had to set threshold for banning the players and may be the named players have crossed the threshold. Otherwise, if the fans get a clear picture of what happened they would definitely lose the interest in the sport itself.
Anyways I ll restrain myself from trying to dig deep into unknown territories and let's Njoy IPL 2010.
